Mawarra Genetics 2025 Herefords Australia National Show and Sale – Wodonga – SALE RESULTS

10/11 bulls sold to a top of $20,000 (Lot 124 – MAWARRA XCITEMENT U083 (PP) to Hollow Point Herefords TAS) to average $10,963

Whilst 2 other bulls in the draft sold to studs (Devon Court Herefords and Karoonda Herefords) bulls sold from South West QLD to Tasmania, with good, long term, commercial clients being the backbone of this result and the sale in general. Thankyou to all the buyers who again chose to source their Whiteface genetics from Mawarra.

Helen Sykes, foreword to our 50th Anniversary Sale March 2023 I have been asked to write a few words on the foundation of Mawarra. I could write on and on about its development, the sires and cows we used, and the incredible amount of breeding  skills and emerging technologies needed...but not now. Put simply, I just want to say what a joy it has been. I grew up with Herefords, as did my father, L. C. (Dick) Rogers. As a young man in the beginning of the 1900’s, he helped run the family herd in the bush around Black Mountain Station, in far East Gippsland. The station was in its development read more..
